1.The steering pump shall e firmly installed on the pump support to ensure that the flange surface of the pump and the driving installationsurface are on the same plane. The gear driven steering pump must ensure that the number of teeth matches.
2.The components and pipelines of the steering hydraulic system should be kept clean, the connection between pipelines and componentsshould be reliable and leak-free, and the steering high-pressure oil pipeline should not have large, excessive bending and fattening
3. lt is strictly forbidden to start the engine withoutoil, nd it is recommended that the direction stay at the limit position for less than 6seconds.
4.Check the tire pressure, adjust the four-wheel alignment and the free rotation of the steering wheel.
5.The steering system should be illed with steering fuid according to the standard requirements.it is recommended to use a viscosity ofabout 25mm2S (at 5O0-c) Oil with a higher viscosity can cause too much downward pressure on the suction line and easily generate noiseinside the pump due to the existence of cavitation.
6.Filter the oil before refueling, and ty to use special refueling equipment to refuel.The solid polution degree code of the working fluid shallnot be higher than 19/16(GB/T14093).
7.Wwhen the steering pump is refueled for the first time, the oil cup should be illed with oil, then start the engine, drive the steering pump at alow speed, and make the steering oi fil te entire steering system. During the whole refueling process, the oil level in the oil cup will droprapidly, so it is necessary to refuel continuously to avoid the steering pump sucking in air.
8.Air emission procedure in power steering system:
8.1Set up the front axle, start the engine to idle speed,turn the steering wheel to the left and right repeatedly to the limit postion, until thefoam in the oil storage cup emerges and eliminates the foam emulsification phenomenon, it shows that the air in the power steering systemhas been basically eliminated.
8.2 After the engine is turned offor 5 seconds, there should be no air bubbles in the oil storage cup, the liquid level should not ise more than5mm, and the liquid level should not exceed the upper limit.lf itis more than 5mm, the above exhaust process must be repeated.
9. If the cleanliness of the system is poor it is recommended to change the oil.At the same time, th fiter screen of the oil tank and the oil cupof the full set of containers should also be replaced, but the internal impurties should not be returned to the system, and the pipeline shouldbe cleaned.
10.Generally,there will be no failure inside the steering pump. Do not disassemble and replace parts at wil. .hen the internal cleanliness ofthe steering system is poor, you can disassemble the control valve nut of the booster pump, clean the inside of the valve chamber, and dry twith clean compressed air in time.
